Hi,
Does anyone know which exactly amendments and corrections were made to 2nd edition of the above book, published in 1992 (the first edition was released in 1983). I own both but want to sell one - 1st edition is usually of higher "vintage" value, but to which extend the 2nd edition is more informative?

Ah... well to my knowledge there's a lot more people who use that book on those forums than on here.

Its probably a little too concerned with going into infinite detail for the users who use this forum! ;)

A superb book, but heavy going!

Which is surprising given how readable the German volume is.

I'd keep the latter if you intend to use it and sel the first ed, unless you're abook collector

Exactly. I collect uniform books and manuals, having currently ca 700 titles. 1st edition has some "collectible" value, but 2nd may have some new details. I will try to register on that 2nd forum  .
Thanks.

When I looked to buy my copy on Amazon the 2nd Ed was actually more expensive than the 1st. A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE!
