With serge BD yes as it got cold in the desert at night.

You might wear it with khaki drill too.

You wouldnt see it out of Africa or the med though.

Strangley enough these smocks saw service in 1991 with the sas.

The smocks run smallish on these sets from panzerfaust, at least they do on the camo sets. Worth going 1 size up if you intend to wear BD underneath.

Agreed, i bought a 'large' size 2 and its only just about righ for me and i had to unstich the arms and unpick seams to add an inch and a half to arm length.

Having said that period pics show quite a lot being short in the arm.
