Life Belt - Where to buy?

Does anybody know where i can buy a british life belt (in blue not the white one).

I've never seen an orignal or a repro on sale.

Not a massive call for them as they were usually ditched pretty quickly if its the waistbelt type you mean

Yes i mean the waistbelt type. As far as i understand the blue ones where used early/mid war and the white ones late.
(or am i wrong?). It is quite easy to get the white ones but i would like to have a blue one for an earlier impression.

Out of interest where can you get the white ones from?

I always fancied one for a 'raiding order' commando impression.

The are sold on ebay from time to time. Sentimental Journey also sells them.

Blue ones are normally RN issue.

isn't if funny how everything gets Glider Pilot Regiment or Arnhem (etc) ascribed to it? IF the lifebelt really had been used at Arnhem would it really have survived-I doubt it very strongly. Anyway Sabre Sales and shop in Bury also worth a look.
