I've just aquired a set of mint condition mess dress, It's post war (1960s in fact but mess dress hasnt changed much since 1850s tbh).
Its Royal Engineers and appears to be pretty much the same as RE has always been, i think the flmaing grenades are more subdued than they are now.
Does any one have a reference to the mess dress of the RE between 1930 and 1950?
And better still that of the Staffordshire Regiment, i'm currently drawing a blank.
