I bought one off e-bay, it took only 5 days to arrive. For the money £110-£120 inc shipping I think they are a bargain.
Not 100% but more than good enough for most re-enactment and airsoft events.
As with the K&C smock, if you worry, you could change the shoulder strap buttons and the collar lining is a bit pale in colour.
This should be the nail in the coffin for horrid WPG and Replicaters smocks. With this quality, for the money you give, you would have to be simple to chose another smock.

Hello,

is the Rangercamp smock the same as the new (full zip)
smock that is now offered by SOF?

Thanks

Looks like it to me, the fact the sizing only goes up to six is a bit of a giveaway too.

I'm surprised they have done that though, it just makes their 225 quid price tag on a k&C look even worse!

Thanks Gadge. But the sizing seems to be different?! For example size 3:
SOF: height 5ft 6 to 5ft 8, chest 36-38 in
Rangercamp: 175cm-182cm 40'-42'

it looks like a Rangercamp size 3 = SOF size 6

i think rangercamp made his to wartime sizes, the K&C ones are i think made for the 'american' re-enactor sizing in mind.

You're right there - I don't know how they can justify that price. AFAIK, I'm the only person in the country who's actually got the Rangercamp half-zip one! :D (And for £50!)

Hasnt Yith got one?

I could have had one as i was offered one in exchange for my ful zip when i thought it was too small but went for the full zip as having two half zips seemed a bit pointless

however the stuff i sent Richard/rangercamp would have been almost twice as expensive to post in one package so i had to split it in two... and they wonder why royal mail is losing money with stupid pricing policy like that.

Hooraaa, Denison turned up today!

I'm going to my first open day for nine months tomorrow and was wondering what to wear. I was going to don the DPM and dig the SA80 out but now it's decided - WW2 airborne it is!

What size did you order in relation to your actual size and does it fit ok?

Thanks
