Um, yes, seems that way. Usually it is suggested that you should retreat until you have regained an adequate engagement distance.

say 25m ( I got myself all wondering now, it is so long since I or anyone looked to write the minimum engagement range) 30m is on the safe side, people loosing chunks of an ear is not amusing.

Within that range there is no shooting with anything over 350fps, this is the standard rule with them, not one we have made up now.

As people will not have pistols they will have to retreat, surrender, or fix a bayonet.

Which side will be doing the night time evasion stuff? I am guessing German. Having got all keyed up to 'escape' that weekend, this might be another opportunity..

It will be a smaller affair running for a couple of hours where the German forces try and use the cover of night to get through the allied lines.

So the allies may find a torch useful.

Presumably we can't be alllies in the day and switch clothes to be sneaky German in the evening?

Maybe, it all depends on the numbers for that really, so things don't get to lobsided.

What are the site living conditions? Tents? Or some sort of accommodation under a roof?

there is a large barn where people can lay a camp bed, But I prefer a tent.

I will be seeing the site owner this weekend and finalizing such things in my mind.

There is no need for period tents for this one, as the camping area is outside the play area.

There is a building with a roof... but it has no doors so will be drafty. I'll be taking a tent.

It's in the middle of June, it'll be warm and sunny, sleep under the stars! What could possibly go wrong!?

Ammo limits will be given out by HQ, and there will be a limited amount for each side, not per player.

We have the Bolt action rifles from Gunman that Josh has allowed us to rent out, £20 for the weekend.

I will move the original to a 'lift sharing' thread, as others may wish to co-ordinate such things.

Unfortunately the game is 18+ only. The issue is with insurance, and facemask requirements.

what time will we be able to arrive from ,have to be off site by etc
