Hehe, you didn't get into a cold shower with your clothes on though! Blooming heck, just think what it would have been like had there been fierce winds on Saturday too...

Very Very welcome that. Paid to get the "supersize" and It went down nearly as quick as I normally eat a normal meal.

Ranj and I found a curry house on the way home, best keema naan I've had in ages, not sure if it was because of the naan or the extreme hunger

So whilst you were eating that, I was cooking hot dogs and spaghetti on my Esbit in the pouring rain. It tasted great!

That corned beef hash I made on Friday was strangely some of the best I've had...

I couldn't be bothered to look for tea bags on the Saturday night... I was totally knackered... So I just brewed up a cup of hot water on the fire at the allied camp. I must say it tasted rather sweet and lovely. Not sure why. Syd had some and said the same.

It did look good, while i was standing around in nothing more than a great coat, boots and my jeep cap.

Although I had a great time... I have a few questions.

Where on earth did all the Allies go by the end of sat?

Why did not one keep the fire going we spent an hour starting?

Why was there no-one helping each other in the allies camp. No one gathered wood, no one helped anyone out with anything?

Why was the Allies camp in such an odd postion? I know alot of people asked why there was realy a need for two camps. As after the game stopped for the evening it would have been nice to all sit down together and socialise as a group, after all we all do this for fun and as a hobby and its nice to keep it all united.

The game play its self was excellent and the whole idea of wandering around with a map and a compass while having to find the enemy and working things out for yourself was fantastic. There was a certain freedom to the game play that was very refreshing. This style needs to be worked on alot more. Long gone have the days of "get that flag, run over there and you win" thank god!

Even with my questions, this was a fantasic event (apart from the weather) that I hope you guys can only improve on.

I hope I dont sound like a moaning git (again), it just seems like no-one else is voicing all the grumblings I heard over the weekend.

Capa
