Well guys, its been a fair while now, and i've finally admitted to myself that for me at least, WW2 Airsoft is over. I'll still be shooting at IED, and i'll be going back to Vietnam Airsofting (something I havent done for a decade), but my interest in WW2 Airsoft has gone. It has been a pleasure working and getting drunk with you guys, and I wish you all the best for the future.

The pleasure's all ours Jay. I don't think my liver will ever recover from some of our drinking sessions! I still hope to see you at IED events and continue the fun there.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Yes, it'll be sad that we don't see you at WW2 stuff, but maybe I'll get along to an IED game some time soon!
It would certainly be good to catch up with you guys at an IED event. Oh, whilst I remember, when i've worked my way through my own personal kit (that'll be fun - selling that off whilst the exam season is on), i'll bung all the CiA fieldphones up on eBay and see what we get for them.

Tis like I said a while ago .
Every war story is the same . Starts with a bunch of raw recruits, learning to get along with each other . They band into a rank of comrades, and fight , drink and live their way through the campaigns. Some die off, replacements come, fit in or die off. In the end you are left with a few that have made it all the way and that is us .
I salute the players we've had and the good times
Andy Steiner
Che Diane and Carl
Dave Barratt and his loons
Del and Keith
Barrie and Anne
Yith and his chums
and of course the Drink und Bling gang
There's been some good times and five years is long enough .
There's been some notable nobbers too , I still recall Stubblehopper and his camera obsessions, Gadge and his endless walting , the malignancy that is Josh , and frankly rue the day we ever let him on here. WW2 airsoft is a dead duck , it's as mainstream now as most other "themed" events, and I've never had the heart for SISKs . Tis it's what all the new lil punters want, but it ain't my thing .
Broadly CiA has been a good time for me, and hopefully some of the camaraderie between us will continue in IED's and others events, without all the ballache of organising anything.
Halls und Beinbruch mein kameraden .
