Heh, my reply to him was that was the longest paragraph I had ever read without capitalisation and punctuation - and that everything he needed to know could be on the forum.
He wrote back to say he wasn't any good at writing but had to live with it but was good at leather and metal work.

Sorry, with the risk of sounding like a right-wing snob, I don't buy all this "I've got dyslexia" bullshit that gets bandied about on forums.

Funnily enough, while I can write reasonably well and imaginatively it takes me ages to compose, I'm a bad speller and slow reader - but then there was no such thing as dyslexia when I was a kid!
