Her drugs have just kicked in ![]()
Haven't got a scooby doo whats she's on about...
However, its a definite contender for "most fecking pointless thread of the year" award.
Or perhaps "Most desperate attempt to attract male attention" award?

That would have been if she'd posted pictures of herself actually in the bed surely
BTW we'll have ot delete all this before CW comes back from Dorset if it gets any fruitier ![]()
Heh, I'm watching ya! Dropped into an internet cafe just to keep up to speed - no time for lengthy postings - I have better things to do
but glad you are all on top of things.
I'll post more on Sunday.

Old photos, challenge accepted. Apologies for the quality.
Self portrait to record the length of my hair the day I got it cut.
Me (on right!) with two fellow students with bleached hair for a play I was in. A terrible, terrible look. One suffers for one's art.

Yeh hey - tell me thats a wig honestly .
Nope, when I bleached it it went like straw and was utterly uncontrollable.
I shaved my head not long after that photo.
Or do you mean the long hair? Girls were jealous of that, and in the mid-90's it was quite a draw for the laydeez on the rock club circuit. Alas, long hair no longer has that effect.

Jesus !! ( um literally
)
My attempts at long hair never got much beyond my shoulders, TBH I couldn't be bothered with it most of the time hence the "rat cut" de riguer biker hairstyle circa 1980/90 . The beard was on from the first photo till Arnhem though
the obssesion with Gemran uniform was present from the start ![]()
Heh, me 30 years ago aged 20!
At least I don't have the hair cuttings bills now. But I miss my relationship with my course tutor (female
) some 12 years my senior and married
. Those were the days when knobbing wasn't a chore

Disco Fever
! Not a young punk then ?
yup... that pic does remind be of a Gibb
Come on then Yith , your turn ![]()
I've never been into popular music (well any music unless it's a totty band) but this was 1977. I don't recal any punks - was that later? I think it pre-dates Saturday Night Fever too!
The only 'looks' I remember students had were hippy, heavy metal/rocker, flares and flowery shirts, or a sort of cowboy boots/narrow leg jeans/check shirts thing!

Come on then Yith , your turn
I've not digitized any of the old pics (yet)... plus I don't have a scanner, so it may be while before you see any.
Same here, i'll have to take pics of old pics, thing is i radically changes hair colour /lenght and general image on a more or less monthly basis since i was 18...

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Luckily I got it right from day one, so never had to change.

Poor excuse, I've got a spare scanner in the loft if you need one
David, your look is timeless mate
. Sadly I suspect you could still fit into the same jeans as well , unlike others ![]()
BTW -NMTB was released in Oct 77 , God Save the Queen (7")was released in May 77 . Where were you ? ![]()
Hehe, I was doing more interesting things than listening to punk, obviously
.
You've got me thinking though - I used to run the student union bar and I really can't remember any punk stuff being around at all! Suspect if there was any interest in it in Derby it was a niche thing, certainly wasn't on the juke box!
All I remember was you were either a Wrangler or a Levi person and that was it (bear in mind this was in an art college so we should have been avant guard
)
I never spend any money on clothes (apart from airsoft uniforms
) so believe me, if the 30 year old clothes hadn't fallen apart I would stay slim enough to fit them! Tight git!

Ah i get bored of the same look after a few weeks even though i look amazing each time.

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
It's funny what you remember over time . I was only 9 in 77 (sorry mate
) but I recall seeing punks around in Plymouth , and also going into Woolies and looking at the singles chart to see that the Number 1 spot was blank as a lot of the Pistols stuff was "banned".
Obviously not into it at the time , but grew a fondness for some of the punk stuff as I got a little older. Hopefully off to see The Damned next month ![]()
