However I have spoken to Jamie at F&O and he says there may be a problem with the site owner not wanting the CIA WW2 airsoft group back after the mess left last time.
He said the toilets which are not plumbed in were used and some wall sections pushed down also general mess
Well, the walls were pushed in and the loos were shat in. I know, I cleaned 'em out.
Still, no reason why the owner would need to know WHO is using the site, as far as he is concerned it is F&O. But then Jamie is a thicko bullshitter...

Sid and Jamie both specifically said that there was no issue with the walls, and you cleaned the shit (to be fair, I didn't even know about that!).
If the site owner wants to keep the site pristine, and prevent the walls from caving in, he should turn on the ventilation!

I ended up having a long chat with Jamie at the AI event at Anzio camp last year. I came away with the feeling that he is nothing more than a money grabbing cunt. Even more so when I found out that F&O are screwing a mate of a mate on hiring his site off him.
Frankly, I don't like the bloke.

Hehe. Oddball posted these after the game - I never bothered to include them in the website collection! Weirdly, Oddball must have some video editing software, he even puts captions on and yet 'editing' consists of sticking long sequences longer, not making long sequences shorter.
I like the way Part 1 has 57 views but Part 2 only 24! Clearly endless shots of a camera being waved around in total darkness didn't grab his viewers!

I spent the day with chief chinthe yesterday. What a feckin knob! I had to keep walking away from him he was so annoying.
He isn't very old but kept on talking about 'army' stuff he had done (I presume as a cadet - I don't know 'cos I didn't want to encourage him) and I learned that SA80s fired better if they were never cleaned and that the Gurkhas never cleaned their SA80s and he knew that because his instructor was a Gurkha. Oh, and British forces never manoeuvr in single file, always in two columns. He is only interested in kit and regulations and knows nothing about behaving tactically or as a team.
We went out on a patrol and while everyone else behaved in a reasonably 'realistic' manner (staggered formation, watching our arcs, keeping quiet) he was sauntering along waving his Thompson all over the place - even plinking into the brook - and blabbing away passing on all his knowledge. He looked shit and didn't behave in the spirit of the event.
Then, when we were doing an exercise in manoeuvring to orders to hunt down an enemy he broke ranks, disregarded Craig's instructions and went racing off on his own and shot the enemy single handed and then walzed around soliciting praise and wanted to be awarded a VC 'cos he killed the enemy. He had no concept of what Craig was trying to do at all. I said to his face (in a mocking way) "typical bloody airsofter" - 'cos that's what he was. So much for 'serious' reenactors!

Is he the one that's wearing the M43 in the photo? (along with a black t-shirt!). Sounds like typical walt wannabe behaviour and talk, like many "reenactors", with whom a very little knowledge can be stretched a very long way.

I can't imagine why Gadge would have fallen out with the far shitting sun with people like that in it
Well, I'm going to Sennybridge this weekend!
Josh offered me a cheap place when I tried to plead feigned poverty, so that one kind of backfired on me. I anticipate lots of blue on blue whenever cock company cross my sights
. Just to wind gadge up, I'm going in my South Staff's kit and using a Thompson
.

Why don't I get freebies?! Not that I'd be welcome if Cock Company were there...

It's not a free place, just cut price. I don't imagine that I'll be sharing beer and singing songs at the social with the cock boys either!

LOL, Josh was your most hated person after Manning, Gadge didn't fare much better and Dog Co was the lowest of the low. Now you want to play with them all.
Barely a CIA member on that booking list!

True, Josh isn't on my xmas card list! However, as I look at my mountain of kit and realise how little use I get out of it, I remember that I don't have to drink with any of them and can enjoy shooting the shit out of them. I wouldn't call it playing with them, just playing alongside them. Anyway Dave, you're the one always banging on about diplomacy and being nice to people!
Going to this game doesn't alter my opinions on any of the people present, I KNOW that they're all a bunch of c**ts! I reckon I'll have an early night on saturday, because, as you say, there's hardly anyone there that I'll know!
By the way, manning will ALWAYS be my "most hated, bottom feeding arsehole in airsoft"! Josh has assured me that he won't be at Sennybridge, as I made my feelings (and intentions!) perfectly clear should he be there.

Hehe. At least the CiA team will be represented there so the jibe of us not supporting or shunning other events can't be made.
Give Josh our "lubs". ![]()

Interesting that Craig has altered The Mace timings to match AGS's and ours. It does make more sense.

It makes sense in theory!
We have yet to see what it's like sustaining a game for eight hours. We are going to have to be very disciplined to build momentum so as not to run out of ideas or energy towards the end. And I think we have to be brave enough to 'call it' before time, should circumstances dictate - or at least allow lightweights to finish early rather than have them dragging the game down. Best they go back to their tents than ruin the game for the die hards.

the rate it's going there won't be any germans starting the hand let alone worrying bout the end:(
Yeah, that's a real shame.
