We're changing the rules for CiA games and that's it. If anyone feels that's wrong they can start their own games.

Indeed! I had changed the rules without telling anyone - our players have never complained about our restrictions per game, why would they? Bookers accept the rules of the day - Gunman bans high-caps, is there a mass migration to CiA games? Of course not!

But no need to lock it, just let it run out of steam and in will disappear into oblivion.
Locking might seem a trifle ermm 'its our game so we will do what we like' instead of allowing debate. Not that any of it will make any difference to what WE do of course but at least the electorate has had the opportunity to speak!
Given that we have plenty of cash how about having a couple of free loan rifles available for punters?
It would put paid to those who say it's not fair if chaps haven't got a period weapon and to those who only have a non-period back up gun. And makes us seem nice people.
MP40 would be obvious but somewhat encourages a plethora of SMGs, DBoys K98 is unskirmishable.
So what is cheap? Airsoft World have springer M14s for £50, cocking the bastards for every shot sounds a good idea. I'm not very well up on modern ACM rifles but is there a bolt action that just sprayed brown won't look too out of place?

Its worth investigating, but the springer M14's really are absolute crap. I'll have a dig around this weekend, see what I can find. One thing that Josh might have right is hiring out of shooters. A nominal fee - just to cover wear and tear, and eventual replacement - would be worth looking at.
