Arnhem game - Battle Lakes Nov 13/14

D-Day - Battle for Arnhem Day 3 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 

Most of us have committed to the Frontline game that month in Swindon a new site so wont be doing 2 events in November. Thats what happens when you only advertise on Facebook and not on the dedicated WW2 forum. Lets hope there is enough for the events to both happen or the whole WW2 scene will fold sadly

I am intending to go to the frontline game, been really impressed with these games. A lot of effort is going into them. 

I'd really like to go to the Swindon one, but I'm away that week. 

I can't say I'm massively enthusiastic about Battle Lakes as it is almost impossible to get to from here. 

I'll have a think about Swindon. Might be possible for one day.

I Getting around the M25 to the South adds loads of time to the journey unfortunately

Swindon is certainly closer. My wife just reminded me it is our oldest daughters birthday that weekend so we are supposed to be going to Birmingham. Oh FFS. I'll have to see nearer the time. I've got the Reichstag game in the diary at least.

hmmmmm... I do feel like its a bit of a shitty move booking a game 2 weeks before ours... but hey ho....

It is true. We need a larger community. More games means more players for everyone.

Im still trying to see if I can get to the D-Day game.

it would be great next yr to organise a large advent with more people and maybe some vehicle's 

@shane we will be attempting the same as this year, however site costs for red alert have gone up drasticly making it unafordable for us.

we need to all work together to find better cheaper venues and attract more players to help with extra costs 

Yay, im back on after two months of not be able to post.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post here, ive been in and out of isolation, ivar have to deal with a bereavement in Gunman and cover one of the sites for three months.  Bonkers.

Sorry if I've trodden on anyones toes here.  My date choice was purely what I have left, also I made sure it didn't clash with any other events.  I waited until other events had got established before posting Gunmans and chose a site as far away as possible.  

Im sad i'm in OTHER events though.  As the oldest community member and one of the original ww2 scene makers, its sad im in the list of 'other events' lol.  but ho hum.  In the past ive posted up my event on Facebook and website, then found the event was already set up on here.  Again, ill make sure I don't leave it to long.

Right, ill get some info up in 'other events' and go from there xxx

I will be at as many events as possible who ever is organising them together we are stronger surely
