As you maybe aware Josh is going ot the Candlesten site on the 25th and 26th Sept . I am going to meet him there on the 25th , and would appreciate if others could too , so that we can go through the game scenario, the site and the logistics.
He will be advertising in AI shortly , and is confident he will pas the 100 player mark .
I've also suggested he come to Wotan as a NPC to see how we run games / what they look like .

Can you please let me know ifyou can make the 25th , as I don't think it right ot be there alone from CiA .

It's highly unlikely I'll be able to make it as I'll be in Land's End. It's my birthday on the 22nd and I usually go away for a few days if I can.

There's a chance I'll be coming back up to the Midlands on the Tuesday so I might be able to get there, but the dates aren't confirmed yet.

I certainly will if I can (hows that for non-commital!). Previous weekend I will be ferrying back and forth getting James into accommodation & following weekend I'll be doing SH's photoshoot and then a Vietnam day so desparately short of 'spare' time. It's likely to be a last minute 'yes' from me I'm afraid.

Yes you are of course correct, you won't officially be part of the team , however I was just trying to be flexible rather than anal about it  I'm sure you'd have a valuble input to make, official or otherwise .

Guy, were you intending to go down on the 25th still? I can't make it during the day as I have to work.

Yes- & I've had to book a precious days holiday , (leaving me only 2 till Xmas now) so that I can go to it . :(

If no one else is comingthen suggest we get together a list of topics ot go through with Josh to get the most out of the meeting

I had to shift my holiday this week as I have to be back at work for Monday-Friday next week, hence I couldn't have made it either way. Sorry.

I've edited Josh's rules posted today to try to make them less gay and more obvious what he is on about . Talk about hits and veterans is misleading so I've translated it into more normal language .

Also today I got another 10 names from him , the anticipated surge of 150 looks fukin hopeless now , although I'm sure October will see a flood  If it's mainly our players then it's mainly our game , and well run it mainly our way is my current thinking , without getting into great arguments with Josh about it

Agreed. The rules don't appear to have been adjusted much following the input we gave.

Interesting development today. Seems Monaf has been speaking to Josh again. This time its "40 players from his side and 50 from the ww2 forum". Last time it was 150 players all-in. Now, i know that the SBG guys who were supposed to be coming have dropped out (at least for the time being), but someone I cant imagine that they had 60 people booked in.

If i was feeling charitable, id say "WTF?", but i'm not, so i'm saying "Nothings adding up" instead...

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

His re-enactment gig has been postponed to the week after D-Day now....

What sort of advertising did he have at his trade stand at Beltring?

Just sent press releases to Arnies and Airsoft-News.eu

Also you chaps need to alter your sigs on here and ASCUK - no point advertising Wotan or Churchill's!
