I know I'm not going, I don't think its being specified anywhere, but the post on the great coat spurred me onto post this. I am not organising this event, its nothing to do with me, but after incidents at a time that shall not be mentioned ;) can I just ask you all consider the following points as I want you all home and online after this weekend so I can annoy you all some more

Keep warm, something dry to change into if needs is an absolute necessary, even if its for the drive home. Something warm to wear on the night whilst your bimbling about. I would hate to hear of any of you lot being needed to be carted off for hypothermia so pleeeeeeeeeeease be sensible. Dry socks for day 2, 2nd set of uniform if you have it, whatever JUST KEEP WARM. I hope you're lucky and the weather is with you, but at least consider and be prepared that it may not, it could rain(your going to wales) and you may get soggy ;)

Water, funny thing and you'll no doubt see lots of it at the weekend (River/stream) and the sea (that vast expanse that will be behind the Allies and in front of the Axis) I don't mean that btw, I mean the stuff you drink, water bottles are an essential item, especially if you're going to be miles away from the CP where water may be provided ;) I don't want to hear anyones been rushed of to hospital from dehydration

Food, simple really EAT, I know you won't starve but seeing as some people forget this essential necessity DON'T

I'm totally green with envy at all of you going to play :( but I really truely DON'T want to hear of any incidents that could have been prevented with preparation  I want to hear you all come back with glowing reviews and make me truely jealous you had a fun time, and not that some rodney forget to drink any fluids and is ill.

Tis not rocket science, you can all be boy sprouts if you want, BE PREPARED

I know but considering some people missed the details a previous time, and I really do think quite highly of most of you (some more than others ... jk) and as it was missed completely last time in the main blurb I though as noone else was going to point it out, I would  .

I'd like to think you 'orrible lot may realise this, but I know some won't think about it until its too late  so motherly head on as I'm not there with supplies of sugar, tea, bags, hot chocolate, food, tarpaulin, longjohns (Che) etc etc I thought a little reminder might serve well, am sure you all want to enjoy the event

And I thought it was only tiny that confused me with being Mom

Der Speiss - the Hauptfeldwebel , an honoury title for the highest NCO position, in charge of company admin etc.
Known as the "mother of the company" , two rings round both arms and reporting pouch in front of tunic .
