i left my german water bottle at the 88 (the one thats not next to the fort )
on sat aft, but on returning to recover it it was not there. if anyone has seen it please give us a pm as it has great sentimental value as it was a gift from helga.
theres nowt so Permanent as temporary
indeed won't say more cos I want it returning
took me ages to get that
and now its gone
Aaah!
I saw it at the 88 and left it there rather than picking it up as I thought someone would come back for it.
he did and it was gone useless bugga
anyways assume either someones picked it up thinking the same or its been collected possibly in the clear up by the gunman peeps, hence its posted so it can be returned pretty please with a cherry on the top.
Note I can describe it in all its glory poor lil defenseless water bottle
There was a nice felt/wool covered water bottle on the registration desk at the end of the day. Probably is your one if not one of the Gunman guys'. If so, it's in Josh's safe hands.

Che you read this PM gunman or go on his site and let them know its potentially yours
Also, found an MP40 mag when walking out. Have given it to Josh, he knows who's it is. Just to let know that it's been found

Possibly lost my camera at Axis camp - in a black glasses pouch, small slim silver camera. Going to have to go through all my stuff tomorrow, but it's not where I thought I'd left it.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Might have been my MP40 mag you found - I managed to loose three over the course of the weekend - got two back, so I guess that's the last one.
Thanks for handing it over - now I just need to get it back...
You don't stop playing because you get old...
...you get old because you stop playing !
I've got a German torch with a broken strap - left at Axis HQ and a nice metal lensmatic modern compass, again left at Axis HQ .
I also lost a MP 40 mag - marked 68/1 cos I mark all my kit .
Beleive I might have one or two MP40 mags that were handed in over the weekend, but won't know until I've sorted out all my kit .
tachenlampe ? its mine I broke the strap at wotan and I'd hazard a guess the compass will be mine as well if its dark green Che said he took them
should add compass should be a modern lensmatic with even its wire still in place and folds up nice and neat as well as being green andthe torch has big round batteries in it rather than repro battery and is a repro from Germany, think they red and black (the batteries that is) its def mine.
The last I saw we had two MP40 mags at the end of clearup, one with something unintelligible written on it in tip-ex/white paint :p, the other unmarked. I imagine Josh'll post up a complete list of lost + found when he gets back and recovers.
Camera definitely lost. Must have fallen out of my boot at Axis camp, cos I didn't even take it out anywhere.

I found a rather nice lensatic compass in the Axis command tent area. Old Un has it.
Yes its mine along with my torch
am going to make Che wear anything he borrows in future have a string on it, bit like mittens as a kid
Hope you get the weapons back Josh, did you take deposits for them ? and get people to sign ? , should be a process of elimination if thats the case. Boring working back through the paperwork but maybes have the answer you seek
Dont laugh but we put *anything* like that on a lanyard in the british army, have done since wwii to stop it getting lost.
Most oficers in the field can be seen with various bits of cord attached to buttonholes.
My knife, whistle, compass and pistol all have lanyards.

hmmm yes I need to get a lanyard for my compass...
