Only managed to do the first day at Normandy, had to be back for a rugby game, so here's some of the photos I took

Waffen SS Hohenstaufen infantry section inspection, fully loaded with two MG42s, panzerfaust and HMG tripod

Kermit all set up on the beach, I personally saw him mow down the contents of at least six enemy landing craft with his HMG, I think he deserves the Knights cross for that one and the poor sod who had to carry the F@cking tripod on the ten mile battle march to the beach and back gets a wooden spoon and a box of milktray (me)
Rottenfuhrer Heide takes up his position in the Dunes, the HMG position can be seen in the background.

Sturmann Del, tries to turn back the tide of the allied invaision with his K98 scoped mauser, he knoched up many kills and should now be the holder of the iron cross second class for his actions during the battle

SS men Steve and Jay holding back the onslaught in their MG nest

Has anyone seen these two men, a reward is offered for the capture of this Scharfuhrer and Sturmbahnfuhrer, they are wanted for grave criminal activiity against the Reich along with Feldwebel Headshot, Herr Major Keller and Scharfuhrer Kermit (might have to take that Knights cross back from him) Their crimes invole posing naked for photographs wearing only crusher caps and jackboots during a night of drunken revalry the night before the enemy landings, if the pictures were to fall into enemy hands, many very SMALL secrets could be given away. Their crimes must be stopped! If captured they will be sent to the eastern front, the cold part, so their secrets will be even smaller.

Here's one for Major, his fallschirjager team is starting to take shape, and I hope his knee gets better after the ops, so he can earn even more bling than Herman Goring who only has slightly more than him, good luck mate.

Gadge spotting for a Hohenstaufen MG team

The lost patrol, probably taken on the ball breaker 10 mile battle mach to the beach, a mixed bag of waffen SS and Wehrmacht

Last one of the photos that were any good the rest were blured, sorry if I've missed anyone out. Anyway had a great time on the beach, a most enjoyable time lugging Kermit's tripod around like a pack mule(sucker) top time on the night patrols, and thanks to Greg and Scott who were the lead scouts for our waffen SS night patrol, sorry you blokes got wasted, but you are expendable being mere Wehrmacht and Fallschirmjager blokes. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Here's the few I got before my cameras' batteries died.

The Waffen SS just before our epic march across most of Wales!

MG42 Position

About 100th of the distance walked!

Brothers (literally!) in arms

Dammit, we look good! :)

Chris, ta for volunteering to carry the tripod, I owe you a beer or twelve, but i'll say this. You have your retreating-through-normandy look down to a T after carrying it down there and back. Over 2 miles there and back, easily!

Agreed.

The beach was a laugh, but next time I'm not taking an entire ruck full of kit.

Hats off to the guys that had to carry the '42s, .50's and tripods down there and back.

I'm glad the towel joke got a few good laughs, and Headshots Gandalf was superb.

Can't wait until the next event!
