Friday arrivals:
Camping is available from 17:00 on Friday 16th September. The site has NO facilities, no water, toilets etc so please remember when you arrive.
If you do intend to camp, then please note that camping will be in the gaming area - all tents must be packed away and the area must be clear by 08:30 on the Saturday morning.
Saturday arrivals:
Please be onsite by 08:30, the gate will be shut and locked at 09:00 so you cannot be late.
Everyone
Parking will be tight due to the number of players that are attending, and the more parking needed, then the less of the site gets to be used! Please look to share lifts where you can in order to save space and follow marshall instructions when parking up.
Please make sure that you bring a bandage for your first hit.
Finally, please bring with you a willingness to follow instructions; an eagerness to work with your section mates and ideally a sense of humor!

the bandage is just that, a strip of bandage to tie around your arm when you get 'revived' after your first hit by a medic/teammate (rules depending ect)

Fraid so - you havent got to be ready to go for 08:30; but we need people through the gate and on the site so we can do the final preparations to the site.

The Premier Inn just outside Kettering is also cheap and very handy. I stayed there when the camping was pulled at the last 900 Days game.
The real invasion started a bit earlier than 0830 of course....

Me too. In game camping and all that good stuff. There are plenty of ways of organising it to allow for some down time.

I'd be up for that too, I don't sleep enough anyway!
As long as I get a few hours I'm good, so middle-of-the-night patrols and sentry rotations are things I'd definitely be up for.
I would definitely be up for a 24hour or two day ww2 event. Just got annoyed with guys with nvg and m4 against mark 1 eyeball and m1. If no one had nvg it would be a great exercise/education/game....

Guys if you are interested in setting up or being part of a 24 hour game then somebody start a thread in General discussion and take it away from the Vierville game. That way you may get interest and support from other people who are not reading this thread and not divert the discussion randomly from this game.
