This is a somewhat restricted dress code event. To help the 'being there' feeling CiA like to give to events we are being conservative with suitable attire while at the same time giving regard to kit players already have, or can adapt, or easily borrow.
Allied
The allies are US only. Mainly 508th PIR but also 325th GIR, all of the 82nd Airborne.
508th wearing M42 or M43 jump suits.
325th wearing M43 jackets/M43 jump/standard trousers, or M41 jacket/M37 trousers.
Footwear for all - buckle boots or Corcorans if you have them, otherwise roughouts are fine.
Arm badges to be either 82nd AA or none at all, either is acceptable.
M1 pots (any) are preferred but jeep caps are OK if that is all you have.
Axis
The Germans are mainly 3rd FJ Div.
SS and Heer troops are Kampfgruppen and not a homogeneous unit.
There is no need to remove existing cuff titles, and the use of camo is player's choice.
All Feldgrau/blue wool uniform types are acceptable.
Footwear for all - low boots or para boots, jackboots if you have neither.
No crusher caps please, soft caps or helmets are fine.
Axis and Allied - ranks of Sergeant or lower (or easier still, none at all). No crushers for Axis please, soft caps or helmets are fine.
