I like it but personaly id prefer a bit of colour to make it more striking.

I could put some colour back into the flag, I took it out as I don't like striking flags, just a hint of colour.
The name's no problem, whatever people tell me to write I will.
A bit of flag behind the name would be nice.
Also try tinting the B&W images.
Ah, just checked back through the messages, and it was group I was meant to write - changed the thing so many blasted times I got myself all confused - woops. (So is there a legal definition of association, just amuses me slightly

Bit of colour behind the name, good idea. And I'll play around with tinting.
If you want a banner designing...I can have a go if you guys dont mind. I would say the banner looks very similar to PBI with the use of simple black and white images. Colour will tend to draw your eye to it alot more. Plus is sets you apart.
This is a banner i did for Dog Company AKA the "the Filthy Thirteen" using a similar style to the original doughboys. I've been asked to do a few banners for people on here.

Looks good, though I think the writing wants to be a stronger colour as its faded into the background where it was "WW2".
