Okay guys, what upcoming events do we have where the "new" Doughboys should play as a team?

On March 21st/22nd there's "The Road to Caen". Not sure if I'll be there yet, what about any other Doughboys?

On April 26th there's "Die Glocke", but I'm already committed to playing as a Brit, what about the rest?

On May 30th/31st there's "D-Day + 7: The Battle of Bloody Gulch", yet again I can't play as I have another commitment! gah!

On June 20th there's "Hell in the Hedgerows - Battle for St Lo", this is one I will definitely be at as I'm an organiser. Would be good to get all the Doughboys to this!

On July 4th/5th there's an ‘Operations’ day at Gunman

And on August 1st/2nd there's Caen Gunman Airsoft.

So who's planning on doing what?

We're also planning an E&E game on a very large woodland site down south in September. Will confirm the date within the next couple of weeks.

Plus there's a place left on Die Glocke!!!! We hope we don't have to, but we'll be making this available to non-members as of 1st March.

I am at Battle of Bloody Gulch, but as a Brit, If there were many going I could swao, but I think this is meant to be for those airborners

Hell in the Hedgrows I'll be doughboying it up for.

That's it for the moment, we haven't discussed the Gunman ones yet but I will not be able to afford to go to any 'new' games before April.

Lipton mentioned to me that he was going to talk to Webby about trying to do a training day before Hedgerows

Hell in the Hedgerows feels like it might be the neo-doughboys coming out party.

Don't forget the 5th of July is Operation Aerial - in case you were thinking of attending Gunman's opp's

I am going to "Bloody Gulch" but I was not planning on going a la doughboy as the game is based around the 101st. I think it could be treading on Taffy's shoes a bit if we were to turn up to the game as infanrty.

I think Wladek is quite right regarding the "St Lo" event, it does seem to be the best suited.

As far as the other games go there all centred around other units and nations so it would be quite hard to crowbar us in at the moment. There's still time though.

Anyway, events I'm going to are:
Bloody Gulch (101st but doughboy in spirit)
St Lo (Doughboy naturally)
Operation Aerial (British)

Oh Tarpey :ghey: you've gone and got "possibly" and "definitely" mix up....again
Here let me correct that for you.

Tarpey says "I am most definitely going to St Lo as 325th Glider infantry."

Not that I want to 'step on anyones toes' either, but Bloody Gulch was Airborne if you do come representing the Doughboy Group can I suggest the secondary 82nd P.I.R loadout...

If you look at the units involved they are for the majority Airborne, even the German units are Fallshirmjager.

The 101st was'nt at Husky but they turned up as 101st annyway, I know you did'nt but mentioning the fact  Did'nt armoured units take part in Gulch, also arnt there British commandos going to be there aswell, they are a bit more "untrue" than US infantry. But yer I agree with Spears doing Armored or GIR would be better for that particular event, although im not going.

What are people planning on wearing at Gloke, how many of us have M43's ?
