I'm considering skirmishing with my sub-350 K98. Hopefully I won't be facing a massed army of SMGs!

If that fails to work yet again though I'll be using my tommy gun!
I'll probably be using my Sub 350 K98. My Tanaka is up for loan if anyone wants a rifle to play with.

Ammo Rules are usual, we'll allow you to carry as much ammo on you as you need, as some of the games wont involve going back to regen etc.
I think everyones sensible enough now to realise what constitutes a 'realistic' ammo limit. Saying you can only carry X amount in the past has trained folk into knowing what's okay for use.
MP40s - You cant carry enough ammo in mags to reach the ammo limit in normal webbing.
Thompsons - 1 long mag's worth per life, or 2-3 short mags
Rifles - M1 garands and KAR98s don't hold that much in the magazines anyway (with the exception of the M14 magazine which can carry 200)
Just to clarify the 'usual' means 300 rounds per life or 1000 for support weapons or as close as you can get without counting out rounds.

tiny IS bringing his mg 42
it feeds on 250rd mags so ammo goes real quick
i used it last year at op ariel, and as he only has two mags, it ran out real quick , i was down to the last 20 rounds after an allied attack, really scary

It's certainly the first "combat" outing for my M1 (that's why I'll bring my "captured" MP40 as well, just in case!).
