The spot for the chest eagle is a real bugger to get to with that chest pocket being in the way.
I got my smock second hand and the previous owner had just sewn right through the pocket.
I took it off and put it on again properly.
Cheers

Yeah budget a bit tight but hey you only live once
Not going to start gaming until next year now so plenty of opportunity to save and spend
Just a point on the spearhead smocks, be careful if you are tall. The measurements given on his site are way off and they do come up short. At least 6" in my case, but I'm 6'4" heavy
RETIRED, thanks for some truly memorable times and great people
I'm a shade under 6ft and not that 'Heavy' but I'll bear it in mind, thanks for the heads up AdeUK
i found the smock chest size was good but there was no way i could use the poppers to fasten the legs,so if you intend to do the legs up go for a larger size smock.

Yes, my first smock was huge and I could fasten them OK on that, but the second was a bit more snug and although I could do them up they just came undone the minute I walked around. I need to move the press studs back a couple of inchges, but really can't be bothered at the moment.

Yes the poppers on my spearhead smock don't stay together when I move. I even tried sewing them for Hauptmann Horn to make it look like a step in as it was a 1941 event but that lasted all of 5 minutes before the stiches popped.
so if you intend to do the legs up
Were they not only fastened for the jump?

That's what it was intended for, but you see lots of pictures with buttoned up smocks in the field.
Hey all,
My plan on starting my WWII airsofting this year fell to the wayside due to a long period of illness
Getting back to normal now so I intend on trying again to get some cash together and kickstart my FJ impression for mid next year....
Hope to see you Tommies and Spams in my sights soon
