I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
That's a lot of choice 
Well my preferred choice will always be with the airborne, as a denison has always been my favourite piece of kit just for practical reasons.
But I was hoping to see what the general consensus was and go with that 
I haven't given my Denison a good outing for nearly two years so I'm thinking 12th Devonshires in the 6th Airlanding Brigade.
I'm up for that. Anywhere we can get cap badges from?
I got mine from eBay, there's usually a few for sale on there.
My slight hesitation over 6th Air Landing Brigade is that Josh has set the date as 22nd December 1944 and apparently the 6th Airborne Division didn't arrive in the area until Christmas Day and weren't deployed in the defensive line until Boxing Day and even then it was the Parachute Brigades that were put in the front with the Air Landing Brigade held in reserve.
May be we could just show up on Tuesday, although with my time-keeping that is already a distinct possibility.

Out of interest, what units were about on that date?
At the moment the Jerries appear to be out organising us. 
2nd Panzer Div was engaged by 29th Armoured Brigade on the 22nd December at Foy. Not sure who the Meuse backstop troops were but at this stage the bulk of XXX Corps was still moving south from the Netherlands, so forward parties only. I think 6th Airborne were still in England!
Unlike most independant armoured brigades, the 29th still had its integral motor battalion (8th Rifle Brigade).

On the booking thread Co is down as Brew up chaps from over the Gunman Forum. Whether thats out in the front lines or direction from behind I'm not sure.
Either way it's probably better than me or Charlie leading, as we have long resigned ourselves to getting killed in embarrassing and foolish ways.
