Well youv got to love the airlanding.

If the other 2 brits want to borrow a BD Iv got a 49 Pattern and a sanjay copy 40 pattern both badged up as s staffs

Either That or I can rebadge for the event, a certain Artist Rifles

Although for battle of the bulge it should be Ox and Bucks or RUR rather than S Staffs, KOSB or KSB, because 6th AB Div were deployed to the Ardense after the start of the german offensive, and as we all know 1st AB were all but anhilited at arnhem.

Yeah but with a denison on its only the capbadge that will give us away.

(and mine wil be covered wiht a scrim scarf bandanna, as seen in period photos by veterans and in the 1945 documentary on arnhem 'theirs is the glory' yeah amazed me too, but it was done to disguise the maroon beret..)

Yes mate but grab a copy of Go To It. A 6th AB patroll in the bulge area wearing snow suits and a Mix of Berets with cap badges removed, Headovers and Battle Bowlas.

Not a single Shiny badge on display.

Not that That matters when eaven clean brass let alone polished brass will still give you away just as well as a cap badge.

Did you notice that the only shooting german in Theirs Is The Glory is the Tiger? Evrything else is just unseen attackers.

I'd not noticed that but now you mention it...

I'm sure blackened badge and removed ones were definaltey done but the IWM museums pics of airborne lads captured in combat were fully badged up.

I covered mine as the maroon was really sticking out in the woodland.

All the same it'll be cool to have a few south staffs there!

I'm always suprised at the Staffords popularity, i chose them as they were my old regiment but they seem more popular than the other regiment s in the brigade.

We were the first allied troops in to occupied europe. We are very proud of that.

I love being a Stafford and i love the fact that for a couny regiment my regiment have one of the most distinguished service historys in the British Army. Not to mention a lot of VCs

Gadge

25091058 C coy Staffords (1998 - 2000) and bloody proud of it.

Shed loads of VC's Maj Cain (Actually a cameron on attachment), Lance Sgt Baskyfield Both for AT Stuff at arheim looking at the ground it was blooming amazing stuff.

I dont do KSB & KOSB because i'm english(infact the S Staffs recruited from my area) and My Great grandad was a Staff. The first glider to touch down onto ocupied sicily was a carrying staffs.

Pritchy. If you want to borrow a BD jacket your more than welcom mate, as you will be cold as hell to it gets going

To be honest mate 'The Sky Men Of Arnheim' or 'The Red Devils Of Arnheim' were both used to describe 1st AB(Period names given to the british airborne by fleet street rags). But you will probably all 'know us as those prats wearing a red beret' By the end of the first game.

Well me anyway
