"The Star" and "Come And See". Also, if you can find Ray Mears' program on the partisans - amazing and very moving.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Im sure i remember seing a film about Russian partizans hiding out in a forest but it was a very long time ago cant think of the name atall, all i remember is underground holes, and huge exsplosions whils they run through the forrest.

Is the Star in Russian, might well have to get hold of it, dotn mind if its in Russian as Stalingrad is in German and it a brilliant film.

I thought "the star" was pretty good too, though the random spraying of MP40s in the woods was a bit too lucky in my opinion ;)

"Nameless Eminence" isn't bad either, bit of a weird love story mixed in. a 4 part miniseries if I recall.

Stay away from "Shtrafbat", especially the Chinese translated edition. Ghah, the Engrish subtitles drove me nuts!
