Unless you've got a proper tunic with internal braces i wouldnt use them on a cheap repro tunic.

They will put too much stress on the fabric, if you have y-straps you dont need them anyway they were designed to support the weight of the belt kit before y-straps were issued.

My tunic has internal braces. they are only going to be used for walking out, to support an empty belt and holster.

Cool, you dont see many repros with the over the shoulder braces, most just have a weak three inch strip of cloth.

As for belt hooks, dozens on ebay usually.

Ah just noticed the error in the title. right that makes more sense. I already have them, I can't figure out how to get them onto the uniform.

Well? How do you do it? I've had a set for months and I haven't even considered putting them on yet!

call me tonight, I spoke to Pat not long ago and sorted him out - it's easier to talk through it, rather than type.

I also sent him some pics of hooks in place on a few of my tunics

Can't tonight or tomorrow mate, going out for a few beers, then working O/T, then a dinner party tomorrow. Will sort it over the weekend at some point. :D
