in the process of kitting up, STILL waiting for MP40, trousers and boots, got a side cap though!! Fliegerbluse and green 2nd pattern smock in next months list. Any ideas on FJR ? could start getting badges etc in preperation
well Kermit is FJR-2 and I've just ordered a cufftitle of the same . 
Does anyone know where to get a LW Gefreiter Blue/Grey Chevron? Or will the black based one be suitable?
Well my stuff was allready badged up FJR6 from re-enacting but I suppose I could re-badge FJR2.
I'v recently been told about the MG43, apparently an FJ varieant of the'42. I thought it was odd that in 9 years of re-enacting I havnt heard of it befour. Anyway, was such a beast in existance or is that a load of tosh to validate a botched MG42 kit?
FJR2 it will be, No airs and graces though, I will not be buying officers insignia or NCO's . I shall be a mere Jager to start with, jump badge only.
The only 43`s I`ve heard of are the MP43, virtually the same as an MP44, and the modern MG43 which is a similar gun to the Minimi. Have you got any pics of this obscure gun?
What is the consensus on these helmets, considering getting one given the $50ish price tag

No picks, Like I said it was a replica sombody was trying to justify. It is identical to the '42 but the barrel was about 12" too short.
