Hi all i am just looking to get into WW2 Skirmishing and wondered if the following set would be a good buy, for just a standard German set up. I have read its best to get Field Greys first.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WW2-German-M44-Tu ... dZViewItem

I am on a budget and will be using this along side my M14 until i can get a MP40. I am not interested in getting into the SS look and restricted by sizes at the moment XXL.

Any how help appreciated, and advice will be taken on board of what i should get first. I have about a £100 to play with.

Cheers in advance.

Hi, and welcome! :)

I agree that getting Feldgrau is the first priority. Try sending a PM to The Reich Stuff (Anthony) at Militaria.net - British based and a quality supplier.

Hi, and welcome! :)

I agree that getting Feldgrau is the first priority. Try sending a PM to The Reich Stuff (Anthony) at Northern Militaria - British based and a quality supplier.

I played last year in an M44 Jacket an trews set, albeit from a different trader and had no probs, well noone said I couldn't play in it ;) :D

Anthony is Militaria-net (member The Reich stuff)
Chris is Northern Militaria (member DogGreen1)

Both have sections on this forum, and am sure if they can help both would be willing. Sometimes shipping on the tunics from HK can make them equal to or more than whats available in the uk, and you have the added bonus of being able to try something on if you buy from a UK trader ;)

Either way am sure you'll get something sorted :D

That trader in the far east you have likned to takes ages to post things & ages to reply, also far east stuff while not entirely bad is hard to get in the right sizes, militaria.net are in the uk & are doing a offer I see on trousers / jackets, if your on a budget try a wanted add for 2nd hand stuff,
