Soldaten! Following our successful destruction of the Allied forces on Sicily....
...ahem, it's time to start thinking about how we will push the Alllies back to the Channel, using the Blitzkrieg, from our stronghold in the Falaise Pocket. We need as many Heer as possible - anyone who wishes to join me and badge up as Jager, sign up here! ![]()

I will be fighting for the Fatherland. Das Heer has seemed a bit unrepresented recently (FJ and SS with all their fancy-pants airs and graces
) so I will be rank and file army.
Sehr gut!
Can you be tempted to join the Jager Bataillon? ![]()

Is it a case of buying more bling??
Pocketeers you say?
Blimey that takes me back to my childhood. Remember the Palitoy Pocketeers from the mid 70's? little pocket sized games like Grandprix with 4 little magnetic cars you drove around the track by turning a little wheel?

There were loads of others too, but I remember having the grand prix one ![]()
“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Ah, Pocketeers! My rich friend had loads - I had none.
@ Beds - of course there's more bling involved! A simple Jager arm patch (check Anthony's site), and if you're wearing an M43 cap, a metal badge for the side. ![]()

I used to have one of those. I think I swapped it for an Evil Kneivel stunt bike (and slipped up on the Buyer Beware clause - it was knackered).
As to the Jaegers - Ich melde mich freiwillig an.
