OK, since by 1941 the german war machine included many arms factorys in the anexed zones producing their own patterns of side arms, several none standard pistols were in circlulation, so what holster was worn for each type(Radom/FN Browning/Nagan)?
I cant find any pictures of any EM's carrying holsters on their belts that wernt the P38 holster(Or at least very similar).
So what to do? As my new CZ75 is a very nice stand in for a browning Hi Power and is a lot better than some lugers I tryed out a few weeks ago down south.

My Browning fits in the post-war P38 holster that I've got;
The only problem is that it stops a spare mag being carried in the pouch.
Myybes if you at CR you could try the pistol in other peoples holsters, then you'd know what it does and does not fit in
Helga, I'v allready tryed my PO8 and P38 Hardshell holsters, and it doesnt sit right, and as they are both early patterns their isnt much play in it.
Thanks for the links guys.
hmmm mines not hardshell well am sure it was originally but the leather is quite flexible and its not that different from the one posted above. I know che's is very hard and he struggled getting his p38 in it, where as mine fits with room to spare and my mag fits in the lil pocket too. But of course its a p38 in a p38 holster, welcome to try at cr at the weekend tho, sure che will let you try his too.
But what about the holsters?
I have tryed both my repro german holsters - not much point trying the PPK holster is their? so i will get a German HP Holster from the link above.
Thanks Guys.
A Browning HP should fit a P38 softshell holster - I've used one for years for my b/f
I have a proper Browning holster now though They only come in brown.
Did you know that most tankers (Panzermanner) didn't carry a holster in practice. They applied for a PPK and carried it in a pocket. Holsters snag inside tanks..... and in the tank they rarely wore their belt. Today's useful crap from PD!
LOOK! I ham now four meggle man!
