I have one from them and its no different from ones i have from other suppliers..so i would say its as accurate as they come.

Yep, I'd recommend a tunic from Spearhead, militaria-net, epicmilitaria, or richardaunderwood.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
I can't think of a single supplier of off-the-peg tunics that have it 100% accurate. The main problem with all of them is that the tunic is too long, as are the arms. Different story if made-to-measure, but the prices are a lot higher!
Have a look at the following link: http://www.dererstezug.com/FieldBlouseFit.htm then compare them to pics of modern day repro tunics worn at re-enactment events.
**edit**
Just noticed from that pic on the first post that it has the W-SS pattern 5 button front, but the Heer type 3 belt hook holes (if i'm seeing it right - and at 4:40 in the morning, there's no guarantee of that
)

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
The collar looks too big/deep to me.
This is otherwise a classic M40 tunic. They came with 5 button fronts as did M36 tunics.
Not until 1941 and HM41 No.558 did they gain the sixth button.

What i do when ordering a Tunic now is..in stead of getting my size (XL46 chest) my modern day size..as i'm a 6"2in and a 45/46 chest.
I ordered size L44 chest so my Tunics are now shorter in the cuff and the body.. all so my belt now sits in correct places.

Think of it fitting like Jimmy Krankie's blazer, rather than a Showaddywaddy jacket! ![]()

I didnt realise how short the skirt and sleeves of the blouse had to be
They don't.
The really short myth was a favorite of Ed at Lost battalions.
There were tunics that were shortened in the skirt and the sleeve, no doubt about it but there were perhaps just as many, maybe more that were not short.
Examine photographs, you can often see both types in the same image.
The short skirt seems to have been a fashion amongst NCOs. The ordinary landser would not have had the money to spend on tailoring for fashion.
there are various books that cover the Feldbluse and most show many possible variations in skirt and sleeve length.
Dont fall for Ed Waltons hype and think only short is correct.

Simple answer is either.

I see, so what should i go for, long or short?
I'd say one that fits your chest and shoulders and is comfortable to fight in - otherwise it is the wrong size. Quite where the arm and skirt length end up depends on the cut of the garment and your body length/width/proportion, neither of which you can do much about. ![]()
