Yep SueSues stuff is generally good quality , made by Sturm in the German/China .
You could just wear the greatcoat to get you going , covered by the webbing .

If you PM SueSue, he maybe up for a little dealing off ebay , thats how I bought my first set of EM M36's off him .

Doh - SueSue is the seller on Ebays whose link you've posted .
Using it with 37 patt would look a lil numb, a cheap EM's belt and bread bag would do just as well for carrying your gear around in .

With the webbing I travel light, like the Germans you see in the early news reels, no gas mas mask tin, water bottle, entrenching tool, Y straps or anything else, just a belt with mag pouches, a holster & a bread bag, in the bread bag I put ammo & a bottle of water, the early German tunics are quite easy to use without Y straps as the weight of the belt & attatchments is carried by the 4 belt hooks that should be fitted through the tunic.

For what you would get for British webbing keep it, then you can build up a British load out for the future

If you want to save some cash , rather than but a greatcoat for £70 you could get a complete M36 inc insiginia for around £60 . You would probably get more use out of it than the greatcoat.

I concur with Old 'Un - that first link for the wool M36 uniform is excellent value, and will enable you to do a Heer or Waffen SS impression in the future.

Thats wartime british webbing that has been blancoed in a very dark colour.

It'll look very wrong for a German impression... but does pass the CIA rules.

Yep why not ? How far you take this is entirely up to you . I think the help on these threads is more aimed at helping you spend frugally on kit rather than telling you that you have to !

If you look at the bar at the top you'll see under reference an guide about German kit .

Yup... no point in spending money on stuff that's not at all right when stuff that is right is not that much more expensive... or even maybe cheaper!
