I love my new fritz uniform, it's roomy (nice change, that), comfortable and warm - I might even wear it to work. Actually, that's a bad idea, about 90% of my patients are old enough to have fought the Germans...

My question is, how do they stay up? Braces? And where might I purchase or otherwise acquire such a contraption?

Depends on what type of trousers. The M36 type were designed to be worn with braces, whereas the keilhosen M42's were meant to be worn with a belt. SueSue66 on Ebay sells both braces and belts at decent prices, or you could try zeltplane, another ebay trader based in Germany who is very good.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

British Army grey elastic braces do the job and are pretty cheap.

They're M36. Found Zeltplane's braces, but I'm not sure how much P&P to put in the box - it doesn't say for outside the fatherland.

P&P is cheap - ask him for a total. Failing that, get them off Suesue66. Braces are essential - once you've got them, you'll never understand how you could do without!

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
