I know I wish I knew how to save them from youtube, theres loads I'd like to keep incase they ever remove them from there

Try this link http://keepvid.com/, pop in the youtube url of the vid and it`ll give you a download link. If you want to play it in media player etc. try this video converter programme http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Converter.aspx or you can download an flv. file player here and just play the unchanged downloaded vid [url]http://applian.com/flvplayer/?src="KeepvidPlay[/url"] :)
