did the Luftwaffe issue Overseas caps with waffenfarbe piping ?
I've found a supplier selling overseas caps with yellow, black, red etc. piping running around the turned up part of the cap - where an officer's cap would have the silver braiding. They do look neat..., but how accurate are they ? I've never seen this before...

Haven't seen any German (Luftwaffe) caps with piping applied as you describe, only officers piping in the silver color.

Luftwaffe never bothered with the soutache in waffenfarbe, why pipe the whole cap?

It's a Pakistani wholesaler... obviously a fantasy piece then...
