Iconic MP40 may well be, but I can't help thinking an MP44 would have been a better choice as the cheap ACM has swept the market already.
It's 8mm too, but appear to have a gearbox driven moving bolt.

It says GBB on the item, gas blowback ? How come I can never see any of the pics on the airsoft news site ? ![]()
Yup, 8mm gas blowback. Which is good for the noise
. However, from a reliability and usability point of view:
1: It's a Marushin, GBB's i've had from them before dont last long
2: It uses a *very* weird Hop-up system
3: It aint metal
4: The pissy 0.98J Japanese law means it aint gonna have much grunt
5: It will last all of 3 seconds on Green Gas
6: Expensive magazines
However
Escort are in the process of making a GBB system that runs on external air like the old classic Airsoft guns. Its supposed to fit inside regular V2 and V3 gearboxes, but i'm wondering if it can be fitted inside the modded V3 fitted to the AGM MP40.
Now that would get me *very* interested!

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
Ah, you are right - it is GBB so no gearbox then! A collectors piece rather than a skirmishable weapon.
As for not seeing the photos, not sure, does in work in a different flavour of browser?
