Thats what I use , they are high enough and pretty close . if you email him he has most sizes in stock .
bitch to get on and off (although hilarious to those people watching me swear and fall over) but comfy- I wore mine all day at DDay and found them fine .

hi mate i have just received a pair if original officers boots fron canadathey told me they were a size 10 but no way can i get my foot in there are possibly a size 8 half 9. They are 11half inc from heel to toe but they look absolutly blinding, they cost me altogether £180 will be willing to let them go £100

Note to the wise, American shoe sizes vary from UK sizes. 1940s sizing differs from 2008 they also had a narrower fitting Not a dig but a pointer to anyone else that considers either original footwear or that from the states.
Shame they don't fit, hope you manage to find a new owner for them
