Hi All looking to put a german loadout together for when I cant be a yank and also to experience the other side of things with different players Getting ready to start ordering and figured I'd benifit from your guys Knowledge. Helga and Old'Un have helped a ton so far so thanks to you guys. Im looking at ordering the m36 tunic and m37 trousers from spearhead as they come with all the free extras and are fairly cheap. from what im told the wool isnt to hot or itchy and his stuffs good quality. any objections or cheaper places? secondly I was going to get a overseas hat or field cap but now thinking of a helmet. any suggestions for cheap modern repros etc? webbing wise was going to stick to KISS(keep it simple stupid). With just a belt, bread bag, and mp44 pouches. northern militaria seem fairly cheap for those but again please toss in your 2p worth! mp44 pouches in perticular seem harder to find for sale. boot wise was going to try n find cheap jackboots or buy some gators and wear a pair of old brown ankle boots i have. Unit wise the spearhead stuff seems heer based(i think?) and comes with a grossdeutschland(SP) cuff title. so figured that would do for now as im sure i remember someone mentioning a while back that unit was good for most scenarios. So am I missing anything major? and does anyone have any advice? or 2nd hand kit to sell? please toss in your 2p worth as learning a whole new set of kits overwhelming my poor brain Cheers Rhys
