hi guys I found this Swedish aluminum canteen in a page and I was thinking if some one could compare it whit the real deal "german ww2 canteen" and say me if this could pass for one of them to add it to my impression thanks to all I only found pictures whit the water cup in the top and lookin from the wrong side I think the swedish one is look from the rear ok hear is it

I`ve seen the Swedish ones being used at WW2 events. You can compare them to the real things here http://www.mp44.nl/equipment/field_bottle.htm

Hello, it will take a german metal cup, but the screw cap is too big for the phenol plastic type cup.

Just had a look at that MP44 site, fantastic! one small point, the A frame bag should be buttoned onto the A frame itself, I'll show what I mean in one of my equipment posts, very nice collection of water bottles that guy has.
