Yes, that's right Marsha. 'Field grey' usually has a greenish tinge.

Hi guys this may seem a daft question but with 'Bling' whats the best way to attach it, just put it straight through the material, as i assume you would do, or are there other methods you guys use?

Cheers :good:

I do. My M36 had award thread loops but they didn't seem very secure. Anyhoo, once pinned I tie the buggers on with strong invisible fishing line - I bet someone at every game loses a medal and I don't want to!

Cheers guys, thats what i was planning on doing, as quite rightly said the loops dont seem very secure for game play, and it doesnt harm the material to much doing it, as that is what i have done on my Panzer wrap.

Marsha, I had a can made up by Halfords - only downside is that it's gloss, so I had to give it a coat of clear eggshell afterwards. What's it for, and when do you need it by?

(It's known as RAL6006)

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

You might be pushed for time - because it has lead content, my Halfords had to send away for it.

If you don't need it to be a spray then any paint shop should be able to mix it for you while you wait. That way you can choose what sort of finish you want and it will be cheaper too. Of course you'll have to brush it on rather than spray it but then you can texture it, which is more accurate for helmets painted in 6006 and cuts down the shine.

Plus you can buy in in eggshell finish already.
