Is this one of those u-boat jackets that a few SS Panzer soldiers got when based near the u-boat pens? Also this is the 'Tank ace' karl brommann.

If its passed 9 there is a 95% chance im pissed.

Possibly
I know 12ss got issued quite few as well as the italian cmao pattern kit they got.
In fact Lewis 12ss would be ideal for you mate.

You should consider it.

You'd get away with rank in 12ss as well.

yes 12th SS Hitlerjugend, you'd be exactly the right age to look spot on.
I know you dont *have* t be the riht age to wwii airsoft role but if something that perfect comes up it would seem a shame not to do it.

I mean it would look ridiculous if i did HJ unless i did a hauptman or above.

Ill have a go at that then i might put my collar dogs on my wrap with velcro so i can put 12 SS ones on,or just wear a u-boat jacket.,and get Hitler jugend cuff thing.

Yup, 12SS were issued with the leather U-boat jackets. They were "recovered" from stocks given to the Italians. The only place ive seen repros for sale at less than astronomical prices was Sanjay over at Replicaters.

When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Unless you've got a presing event to go to then just take your time.

If you definatley want to do 12ss (and i've have think about it before splashing out) then you can probably ebay your heer collardogs and get enough to buy the best part of an ss pair.

Or just wear heer ones for now, no ones going to mind (although if you'r e like me you probably will yourself) and change them if and when you feel like it.

Insignias not as important as having boots, trousers, eye protection and gun as wihtout the above you cant really get stuck in!

Beleive it or not i'm far form being to preciosu about stuff mysefl. My own Heer loadout is 'iconic' rather than accurate.

I'll tear my own kit ot bits hear:
No national eagle on my m43 cap
*unlikely* but possible m36 tunic on a 44/45 impression
Ridiculously low rank compared to the awards/battlehonours
Jack boots on an enlisted man in 44 unlikely should be low boots.

Thats just a start,if i went to a re-enactment show i'd probably be picked up on all that here it dont matter, as long as it vaguely looks the part and you looks like you've made an effort.

Careful you might get called a stitch nazi :)

Seriously, the *good* news is that the Italian army only recently changed their cammo pattern so you can get jackets and trousers in that pattern (although a completely wrong cut) very easily and cheaply. If you know someone who can sew you might be able to get enough fabric out ofa

Splinter pattern trousers with a panzer wrap would look good.

Clifton matt wears tan and water trousers with his m36 tunic, looks wicked.

You can get a pair of splinter trousers off felcktarn for
