Nice paint job on the helmet Whats the 13 for ?
There's 4 of us at Ai who are going down the same route an interesting note that the pathfinders also used soot from the plane engins to darken down their jump suits

Isn't the 13 a reference to the number of people in his squad being Bakers dozen or something?
I would recommend against painting jumpsuits, firstly because if you mess up for some reason then its at a big expense, secondly if you turn up to an event on your own without all your mates, you will stick out like a sore thumb.
There's a lot of guys who do US Airborne and the majority won't be saturating their jumpsuits with paint (they stick to useless crap like dummy TNT and wartime maps of Carentan etc.) I can say from experience it makes the clothes feel starched and they don't move as freely.
I'm not sure whether I'm right in saying, but once the pathfinders had done their job in Normandy, they returned to their original unit (if they survived) and rejoined the normal paratroopers? So unless you're doing a D-Day or Normandy event it really isn't going to look right...am I stitch counting now?
RANT OVER.
EDIT: Hope you don't mind Matt (biguk) I nicked your banner because I thought it looks cool. Let me know if that's ok with you.

In the original BiA game, the 13 refers to the stick number that Baker is part of, its also the tail number on the DC3 that drops them in D-Day, Ive heard some people think it looks like a stencilled 'B' for Baker company, but they're supposed to be in fox.

cheers for that webby
