Just a heads up for anyone ordering from them. I can`t see the problem myself, surely they just ship and the UKBA does the necessary check ? 
Yes, they are being utterly stupid about it. As an external supplier, they are not confined by the VCR act anyway, it is up to the importer to prove they have a defence. We have no problems with imports from anywhere in the world using AFRA membership as a suitable defence. I have imported several items over the years and had not one problem. The UKBA contact me regularly to verify membership, and are completely satisfied with us.
They clearly have no understanding of whats going on.
AFRA does not offer a license.
They dont know what they are talking about.

Good news, I`ve just received a reply to an email I sent to Gunfire yesterday and they now accept AFRA as a defence. Just ask them to put your membership number on the package. Sounds like they weren`t clear on the UK situation and had been told that UKARA was the only defence. Glad they`ve cleared it up now.
