Had a cracking day on Saturday - one highlight of the day was the Spitfire ripping it up over the site

Brilliant few days wandering around :)

Got to meet CHE and Helga ( didn't know you guys where part of "DAS-REICH" ) 8)

I bought some Fallschirmjäger kit from Anthony :good:

The Spitfire on Saturday was worth the entrance fee alone, also the Lancaster with Spitfire and Mustang escort just topped it all off. (or was it a Huricane) dam hay-fever was killing me and bright blue sky did not help.

Tired ?? come and i will put you too sleep BANG BANG

There have been rumours about it moving for some time, whether the one you've heard is true has yet to be seen but similar has been said each year after the event ;)

PS you didn't come and see me and I'm a very friendly axis reenactor (or is that daft offering tea and bacon banjo's out  ) either way TUT at you guys

9mm hopefully you'll voyage south bound for another DR event ? hope you enjoyed your battle 8)

Forgot to add, whislt I never got into battle my gas canister did  some of Che's airsofting kit also made its debut public appearance there

Best bit of the whole thing was the camaraderie. To be amongst like minded people that came from all over the world to attend an event in the UK was great, whislt during the day we sometimes struggled understanding each other, by night the universal language of "drunk" ruled 8)

Well, that was my first time, but it sure as hell won't be my last. Big thanks to 9mmSleepin'Pill (and Beth too!) for convincing me to go, got to meet a lotta cool people, finished off my US kit, and most of my German kit too. Hell, at this rate next year I'll be hunting for British gear!! The arial display was awsome, and the effort that went into some of the fixed displays was...unbelievable!! Asked loads of questions about why things were as they were, and found to my delight an avalanche of answers!! Very soon POW Airsoft is gonna look just like an oversized beltring display!!!

Had a great time as always, we camped in the vehicle park with some friends who were there with a stalwart and a champ, the guy with the champ runs his own brewery and had a barrel of beer along which we helped him drink :good: .

As per normal I spent more then I'd planned  but there was some stuff I just had to have :D

Vehicle I would have taken home with me? (if I could have smuggled it out without anyone seeing  ), definately this one

Sounds like a good time was had by all......... (starts regretting that £17 entry seemed a tad expensive...)

It's a Czechoslovakian T38 built for the Germans between 1939 - 1942
