Seeing another of our number diversifying prompted me to think of the many excuses and perfectly reasonable explanations I have come up with to justify why I have British,German,American ,Russian ,Cold War and not to mention DPM and Desert uniforms in answer to "have you got ANOTHER bloody uniform"
And I am not even going to start on the need for more guns

"it's not exactly a NEW uniform"

A lot of reenactment events and shows have dances ,it's a bit like the social we have after games when everbody wears their best or dress uniform with all the bling.I bought an original American Class A uniform for it .That and blinging up the feldgrau or Gordon Highlanders service dress.
"It's an investment". That always works.
Well, apart from the fact I never sell anything, and she bloody well knows it. 
i use "it will only get more expensive" which seems to work, saving money by getting it now
