Is there a friendly airsoft importer in the UK, who will start importing the WW2 airsoft guns, like the Chinese Luger, the Dboys K98, BAR etc, without the the airsoft public having to collect reams of paperwork to get a AEG etc through customs, I know some of you chaps have done it, but if we had a friendly importer/supplier it would make things easier, I do not need to explain the benefits , any ideas. we do have over 400 members that is a good customer base to start with and with AI doing a WW2 section this will get larger.

You can try airsoft scotland, give them a call, they like ACM / all china made, they seem to import quite abit of the new ranges and are very good with p&p.

The thing is, you still have to supply the same details to a UK supplier, as you would have to one of the HK suppliers, so it's no more difficult, really.

I think there is a lot of sense in having a uk supplier, guarantees for starters, as far as shipping goes it is no more hassle using keith etc than a uk supplier if you use ups it can only take bout 3 days! there is very little cost saving as you will undoubtedly pay VAT and customs. As for postage you pay that anyway if you buy mail order....

Neilblume,

You are thinking like me, now we have to convince a UK supplier and the rest of the forum.

Landwarrior Airsoft are good people to talk to, and their prices are some of the best in the UK for the ACM stuff. Give Scott a bell, see if he's willing to do "special orders".

Not sure where you're all going .

The VCR requirement is the same whether you buy off Keith at RSOV, or Warren at S&S or anyone else in the UK.

99% of the models are available from UK retailers including the new Chinasoft . A lot of UK retailers aren't interested in cheapsoft because ....erm would you rather see a TM gun at £300 or an ACM one for £99 ?

Yep i can see where your coming from, Ive been an airsofter now for about 4 years and when the cheepy's came out, I said to myself.......ha crap......I'm never going to get one of them, got to stick with ICS, CA, TM, but slowly people started buying the ACM's and i got to have a look at a few...now Ive got 4, yeah i can see your point, in that the retailers would like to make more money on selling the more expensive kit, but surly there is also a market for someone who wanted to sell ACM's, after all if there was no money in it...why do they sell them.

no harm in trying.
