Hello all
going to pop into sabre on the way to wotan on sat. Was wondering how much time those of you who've been would recommend in there? Want to make sure we leave early to have enough time to look around. Also are they a cash only place?
Seeing as its so cheap may pickup a set of brit webbing for future games. anyone mind enlightening me on the bits I'd need for a basic set? thanks.

Basic set:
belt
pair of cross straps
pair of utility pouches
gaiters/putees
optional extras:
water bottle and cradle
small pack and L-straps
entrenching tool holder, haft and blade
large pack + utility straps (also needs the L-straps from the small pack)
How much time to spend there? How long is a piece of string... depends what your looking for... I had to be dragged out last time I was there...
They take cash and cards (I think)

I have to look for the more "interesting" items these days, which they didn't have so many of... however I wanted to look for 'em!
I managed to come away with a hell of a lot of stuff for just £40.

myself and gadge are aiming to get there sometime around early afternoon, we're leaving nottingham at 8am specifically to get to sabre!

LOL, you will be there at 11.30 then! You will have time to go to the D-Day museum. 
I'll try and leave some kit for you guys, I'm leaving tomorrow, got to get thera early.....
