managed to give it a first coat of resin this week,

added some black and brown resin pigment went on very well,
will get some dark green as this will work as an undercoat ready for OD,

i,l start the turret soon to,

allmost all of the "armour" in fitted to the hull,

filling gaps and the resin sanded down,

should be able to get the OD on soon,

Cool that’s going to look so good and you don't have to climb in the turret like I do.
When the wheel arches go on it's going to look great.

I started to wire up the dashboard on the tank today and fit a PA system. I know it's not a Sherman but the immortal line "we like to play music very loud when we go into battle, it calms us down" is buzzing in my head.

Basically if I take it to car shows as I will and have already done, I can plug a 128 meg MP3 player into the PA amp and play anything from music to a short commentary about what it is.
The speaker will also be used as a sounder to signify a tank kill in games.
Maybe the PA could also be used by a marshal or commander to give orders.

so even with out the top coat i,v fooled one person, i,m a happy bunny

na i think it,l be lighter atm with out all of the steal from the original shell,
+ it,l only be the turret that will be higher than the original size of the 4x4,

i,v allso kept the rear role bar that will be coverd in some hesian cam net,

LOL thay do look kinda good, get rid of the netting and make them bit bigger and its all good,

i think some of you lot should have a go, it,l be cheaper than a TM gun and more fun,

started the turret,
it,s looking a little on the pissed side atm as it,s not got the gun mantle to help ballance the shap ie make it longer at the frount,
but you can see what its supposed to be, just

it,s been a real pain trying to get the shape right from the start, what with having to except that the frount slopeing armour is a little to long,
but hay at about £125 so fare its not bad less the donor that was a skraper realy .
