Hi Guys
Switching sides to the axis this last weekend was an incredibly positive experience for me, i got to game alongside players i've only seen down my sights in the past!
Met some great people and its really persuaded me to alternate sides when doing our games.
So.. the question is, are you a dedicated Axis or Allied player or are you happy to swap sides depending on the scenario?

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
German only - would love to do both, but I can't afford it; I'd rather do one side well.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Started off as US and switched to German for BotB and now building Brit kit up so I swing three ways - don't make me do blummin Russian please!

I'd be willing to give any role a go unfortunatly craig(who i play with) isnt fond of the idea of doing a german setup so unless i just live with shooting him
im limited to allied or resistance

you know what would suit you auntie CW nice bit of ruskie
I quite fancy a go at resistance at some point (I have just the sewing pattern for an outfit
)

Sold all the Brit kit and Sten so now 100% Heer and happy with it , although I look thinner in a Dennison . ![]()
I like a got at either, resistance could be fun, I fancy a Pacific game but I think the Japs would be a bit thin on the ground

I'd love pacific game too but agree with you steve, plus i've no idea how easy a japanese loadout would be to do (plus we might look a bit silly if a load of six white lads dress as japs...not that we dont look silly anyway)
I'm considering the feasibility of a Prussian front game as soviet kit is relatively cheap and we also have the option of 'partisans'

Partisans could be fun, use German stuff with the insignia removed & civies, remember the film "Come & See"

Having shelled out for both US and British, and contemplating basic Russian if you do a Stalingrad game, I don't think we can justify getting German stuff too.
We have to buy two of everything as well remember.
Only got German gear so far, but now looking to start getting an allied outfit up and running, thanks to the cheap Thompson making it affordable.
Also up for doing a Russian outfit if my Mosin conversion goes well.
I've currently got enough kit to do British or German and almost enough for American, plus, like dieselmonkey, I'm planning to put together a Russian outfit together later this year hopefully with a choice between a Mosin and a PPSH ![]()

Axis all the time for me - Heer or SS - got the gear to do either, or will have shortly when I've got some SS camo - ![]()
I'm going to stick to US for now, I may look to do a German set of kit in the future, but I'll stick to US kit atm or our lass will probably castrate me. ![]()
i used to do US, but ive sold all the gear to fund my axis loadout ![]()

I still have full US gear, but would prefer to stick with the german panzer gear. its much more arsey, less comfortable, and needs a delicate clean, but it takes me back a few years, and damn, it does look good!!!
My Two Cents.....

plus loads of other modern day crap
I've got far too much Jerry gear as it is. I really cant justify sorting out a Yank or Brit loadout.............at the moment. And what with the way I go about things, i'd then have to go and buy half a dozen new guns.
